Wolf & Vinny’s Preschool of the Arts is an arts integrated preschool serving children ages 2.5 to turning 5-years-old. Our half-day morning program encourages children to explore through play, hands-on learning, and of course, art and music.
Children learn 20-40 times faster when it’s done through play. Our curriculum is specially curated for children to learn through the power of play. By doing this, children who graduate from our program will have the life skills, social skills, emotional regulation tools, and everything else needed to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.
Pablo Picasso once said, “Every child is born an artist,” and we fully believe the power of creativity and imagination that children innately have gives them the foundation for their future successes. Research shows that art and music are ESSENTIAL for children under the age of 6 as it naturally enhances cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth. It not only gives children the confidence to express and be themselves, but it’s fun and builds a positive relationship with learning.
Here at Wolf & Vinny’s Preschool of the Arts our mission is to create a learning environment that allows children to fall in love with learning, gives them the courage to create and allows them to discover who they are as an individual.
We operate with a mixed age classroom. By doing this, children have a family-like association with our school and their classmates. This allows them to explore and learn at their own pace and develop as individuals. As peers come and go through our program, each student experiences being the youngest, middle, oldest of the class. This allows them to gain confidence and leadership skills as they age through our program, which they may not get from being in same aged classrooms.
Honestly, it’s a fancy way to say we make creation and imagination a priority!
Children in our Preschool of the Arts will have a scheduled time for them to participate in creating and learning about art, music and dance everyday.
On Art days, children will learn about different artists from around the world and explore creating through the artists techniques and experiences. We focus on process art over product art, so although the work they take home may not seem like much, just know their brains are creating connections that will only improve their future endeavors and that they had a lot of fun doing it!
Days children have music and movement class, they will sing songs, practice with different instruments and work on the rhythms, memory, and coordination that comes with learning music. During this class, children will also work on their gross motor skills, following directions, and of course shake their sillies out!
Wolf & Vinny’s Art Academy is dedicated to spreading love and joy throughout our community and helping when people are in need. Our Preschool of the Arts believes that golden hearts start with little hands.
We implement this into our curriculum by teaching character traits like kindness, respect, empathy, patience and more while also having monthly community service projects and kindness projects. Some examples of these projects are creating cards for first responders, putting together birthday cake bundles for food pantries, and making blankets for dog shelters.
Our school runs as a 2-day program on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are a nut-free facility and do our best to accommodate other allergies when needed. All students must be fully potty-trained

Preschool Hours
Our preschool is open Tuesday and Wednesday and follows the SDPC calendar. Our Preschool of the Arts hours are 9a-12p. Our regular school day does not include a time for lunch, but we do have a designated time for students to eat a snack brought from home.
Children must be at least 2.5 years old before September 1 and fully potty-trained.

$150/child $200/family
To register your child, you must submit a completed enrollment form and pay the registration fee. All fees are non-refundable. All children attending our Preschool of the Arts program must be potty-trained to attend.
